Two states added to DMV data verification checks

DMV Data Verification

The American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators (AAMVA) has added Oklahoma and New Hampshire to their driver license data verification (DLDV) service. New Hampshire went live on Tuesday, December 10, and Oklahoma on Friday, December 13, and are now available as part of IDScan.net’s DMV data verification service.

DLDV service now has 44 participating jurisdictions – 43 states and Washington DC, bringing coverage up to 73.1% of the US population.

Pennsylvania is expected to be available in the first half of 2025 which will increase US population coverage to 77%.

Offered as one of IDScan.net’s third party checks, DMV data verification queries DMV records in real-time, instantly confirming if the state has a record of the ID or drivers license. This adds an extra layer of security to the identity verification process, ensuring that the ID is not counterfeit or altered.

We offer this service with a flexible pricing schedule that allows your business to pay only for the scans you use, and the option to select which IDs trigger a query to the DMV database. DMV data verification can be used for both in-person and remote identity verification.

VeriScan and DIVE customers can easily add DMV data verification checks into their existing account as an added layer of security. We recommend augmenting DMV data verification with IdentiFraud to ensure the most complete coverage.
