About the Regula 7017
The 7017 is a lightweight reader with white light for desktop use. Automatically scan passports, IDs, visas, driverโs licenses, and other identification documents. The 7017 provides the additional capabilities of text data recognition, MRZ, and barcode reading. The optical reader automatically detects a document when scanning a device. Then, the document images are captured in white illumination mode. Once the data is processed with the SDK, the results of the verification are ready for further use.
