Mobile ID rollout and adoption in Ohio
Ohio offers a mobile ID through Apple Wallet. As of January 2025, more than 350,000 Ohio residents have added their driver’s licenses or state IDs to their phones.
Where can the Ohio digital ID be used?
The Ohio digital ID is accepted at participating TSAs around the country.
Currently law enforcement may not accept Ohio Mobile ID, and local establishments may or may not be aware of how to use/process the new ID format.
The Ohio digital ID is not a valid form of ID for voting.
