New York offers the mobile ID through multiple wallets:

- New York ID in Google Wallet
- New York MiD app
As of January 2025, over 200,000 New Yorkers have added their driver’s licenses or state IDs to their phones.
Where can the New York digital ID be used?
The New York mobile ID is accepted at participating TSAs around the country, including JFK and LaGuardia.
Not all New York law enforcement currently accepts New York digital IDs, and local establishments may or may not be aware of how to use/process the new ID format. As such, it is wise to carry physical ID until wider acceptance is more common.
How can businesses read/verify New York digital IDs?
