State of mobile ID in Maine
Maine is one of the few remaining states with no progress towards a mobile ID. As of early 2025, it does not seem like any legislation has been introduced to local lawmakers. Nor have any plans been announced to the general public.
Hopefully as mobile ID use across the country continues to grow, Maine will consider implementation.
