Mobile ID rollout and adoption in Kentucky
Kentucky offers a mobile ID through a state based application:
- Kentucky Mobile ID
The state has also announced that it plans to begin offering Kentucky digital ID to residents through the Apple Wallet.
Where can the Kentucky mobile ID be used?
The Kentucky mDL is accepted at participating TSAs around the country, as well as participating businesses in the state.
Currently law enforcement does not accept the Kentucky Mobile ID, and local establishments may or may not be aware of how to use/process the new ID format.
