Las Vegas, NV—IDScan.net, a leading developer of identify verification and information gathering technologies, will showcase its solutions at the National Automobile Dealers Association’s (NADA) annual NADA Show from February 14-17 in Las Vegas, NV. IDScan.net is co-exhibiting with its partner Shuttle Q at Booth #5965N.
IDScan.net’s range of ID scanning technologies will be on display at the NADA show, from parsing and data capture to its validation and authentication solutions. The solutions improve dealership marketing, increase the customer experience and reduce costly fraud at car dealerships of all sizes.
“Our technology can be used throughout a dealership,” said Denis Petrov, CEO of IDScan.net. “We strive to help dealerships reduce friction and fraud in various points of customer interaction.
When a potential buyer first walks through the door, IDScan.net’s technology is used to collect the data from their ID, which can reference an internal list of known fraudsters. It can also automatically upload the information to a CRM, which allows dealerships to consistently log accurate data, ensuring that follow-up contact is reaching the right person.
“We know how valuable leads are in the automotive industry,” Petrov added. “Don’t lose out on the ability to follow up with someone because their personal information was captured incorrectly. We also give dealerships the ability to analyze trends in demographics, including age, gender, and zip code.”
IDScan.net will also showcase its comprehensive authentication solution, which puts an ID through a series of security tests to determine its validity and catch fakes. The technology first compares the individual’s information on the front of an ID to that stored in the bar code on the back, ensuring that they match. It uses ultraviolet (UV) and infrared (IR) lights to test for the presence and placement of security features triggered by these lights. ID authentication can be performed as a step in the financing process, or even before a test drive.
Petrov noted, “We hear all too often about individuals using a fake ID to secure dealer financing, then driving off the lot with a brand new vehicle. Nearly all of these cases of fraud could be solved with the simple scan of an ID—we’re proud to have a solution that can offer so much value to dealerships”
