On Thursday, June 27, IDScan.net will participate in two industry events for the New Orleans tech community. New Orleans continues to solidify itself as a hub of innovation, and conferences, meetups, and other events are becoming commonplace. IDScan.net is proud to serve as a sponsor of Next NOLA’s discussion on product development, and to be represented at Tech Talent South’s Tech Talks.
Building Products Your Customers Will Buy, Hosted by Next NOLA
Next NOLA is a community of leaders and innovators in New Orleans’ tech industry. The organization brings together founders and executives to learn from each other and from external resources. Its events often bring a guest speaker to the table, typically an individual who has successfully built and scaled at least one business.
The June 27 event will feature Mike Sukmanowsky. Mike is the VP of Product at Parse.ly, a leading content analytics platform that helps brands better connect with their audience. He will share lessons he has learned from the front lines of product development. He will also discuss what works and what doesn’t when it comes to interviewing customers and building new products.
The event will take place from 6-8pm at the Southern Rep Theatre at 2541 Bayou Rd in New Orleans. IDScan.net joins other leading New Orleans tech companies as a sponsor of the event. Members of our staff look forward to attending. Click here to register for the event, or visit Next NOLA’s website for more information.
Tech Talks, Hosted by Tech Talent South
Tech Talent South Tech is a coding bootcamp dedicated to fostering talent in technology. Upon completing its rigorous curriculum, its students are prepared for careers in tech. Tech Talent South also works to build a community among leading tech companies and connect its students with opportunities.
At its June 27 Tech Talks event, attendees will catch a glimpse of what’s happening in the New Orleans tech scene. Representatives from nine local firms will present 15-minute lightning round talks, and Nicholas Peddle from IDScan.net will be among the presenters.
During his discussion, Nick will discuss IDScan.net’s past, present, and future. He will talk about how our cutting edge technology—which has been approved by the FBI and TSA—is being used to enhance environments and experiences across industries. He will also discuss the many applications of identity verification technology, and how IDScan.net makes sophisticated technology available to Main Street.
IDScan.net appreciates the work of Tech Talent South. In fact, our Developer Advocate Sabrina Marlbrough is an alumna of its New Orleans program. Tech Talks will take place from 6-8pm at Launch Pad in New Orleans. Click here to register for Tech Talks, or here to learn more about Tech Talent South.
