Facial Recognition API
Integrate advanced biometrics with our facial recognition API. Detect faces, make face templates, and compare them to photos, IDs, and live video.
Powering ID Verification Technology
Our facial recognition API powers native and web applications around the globe, using a variety of development frameworks.
Request A Quote
API usage is based on the number of facial templates created and data storage requirements. Use our Quote Request Form, or give us a call at (504) 434-0222, and a representative will provide custom pricing.
Why implement facial recognition?
Face recognition has grown to become the leading method for biometric identification. It can accurately match IDs to photos and videos to give you confidence that your customers are who they say they are.
Create a face template
Our facial recognition tools create a 300-point template using advanced meshing technology that detects the pitch, roll, and yaw of the face. This is performed in a matter of seconds and turns faces into data that can be checked against.
Match individuals to the template
The template turns faces into data. Facial recognition can then match faces in photos and videos to the original template, giving you a high degree of confidence in whether or not an individual matches an ID. In ideal conditions our API performs with 90% accuracy.

What data is returned in the API response?
Our API can do much more than match faces to photos. It can detect age, sentiment, and other key data points which are valuable to businesses.
Frequently Asked Questions
Pricing is based on the number of templates you plan to create (ie. faces you plan to scan and check against) as well as several other factors. Give us a call at (504) 434-0222 and we’d be happy to discuss your use case and provide a custom price.
We have robust documentation, but we won’t lie: this is an API that requires tech-resources to implement successfully. We do have tiered pricing for professional services to support you in your implementation efforts. We can provide these tiers of hours to you on a demo call.
In ideal conditions the API achieves 97% or greater accuracy. Identifying individuals who are in motion is more challenging but still offer a high degree of accuracy.
It is a RESTful API.
Images should ideally be no more than 1500px wide, with a resolution no less than 96dpi (150dpi is recommended). JPEG compression should be no less than 15%.
